Turkey – the country of the big wild boar

The Eurasian wild boar can be found and is hunted in large numbers throughout Turkey, with high trophy quality. Our hunting programs are popular, primarily because we harvest tusks over 18, 19 cm with big certainty.
The ideal habitat for these wild boar is in the mountains, with many oaks, walnut trees and hazel bushes, which provide excellent feeding and habitat for the wild boar.
Before each hunt, a detailed survey of the feeding places is carried out, some feeding places also have cameras, so that we can direct the hunts to the optimal places.
Although the wild boar population is very good in all parts of Turkey, some areas stand out with boars with very large tusks. These areas are: Black Sea Region (Northern Turkey), Central Anatolia – Ankara &; Bolu and the Mediterranean Sea, as well as the coast of Turkey (south) and the vicinity of Antalya.
Turkish wild boars have larger body weight and have exceptionally strong teeth. The average tusk length is 18-22 cm, but 23-32 cm is not at all rare either. Our hunters constantly harvest such tuskers, in good numbers, some of which are international gold medal trophies between 24 and 31 cm. During one night, the realistic result is 4-8 tuskers, but if someone wants to shoot more and lets us know in advance, you can harvest way more with 2 local hunting guides.
In Turkey, you can hunt wild boar all year round, but your chances are usually better during the growing moon. The weather varies from season to season, in summer the weather is around 15-20°C at night on the hunt, while it can be hotter during the day. In winter, the weather is quite cool, sometimes around 0 – +5 C.
Accommodations: if there is no other need (e.g. a beach hotel with a family), we always accommodate our guests in the nearest 3-4 star, comfortable, clean and pleasant smaller hotels to the area. We provide full board (except drinks).

From October to February, it is the wild boar hunt season. We still have a few free dates for 2023, please ask and book those places with our colleagues.

2023- TUSKERS – South-Antalya and its surroundings: individual wild boar hunt
