Beceite Ibex hunt in Spain

The Spanish Beceite Ibex offers an exciting mountain hunt in a fascinating landscape. This hunting trip promises the charm of a real mountain hunt in Mediterranean flair, but without requiring the hunter to be particularly fit. This hunt is therefore also ideal for older hunters. The hunting area is extremely varied and in parts very well developed, so that the hunt can be carried out at all levels of difficulty if the guest so desires.

The hunting area is located between Barcelona and Valencia, about 30 km from the Mediterranean coast. It is located in a tranquil area without any mass tourism and covers around 100,000 hectares.

The hunting season begins in October and lasts until May. The rut in November/December is particularly interesting, as the ibex is active all day. Spring is just as promising, as the bucks crowd together and often stand very low.

Each hunting season I accompany a few small hunting groups to Spain and you are more than welcome to join these escorted trips. The next free date for an accompanied hunting trip is: 11.01. 2023 until 01/14/2024.

Alternatively, you can of course also hunt on an individually agreed date. We organize everything for you to ensure a smooth process.

The hunting package includes: 3 nights with full board, 2 hunting days, shooting of a representative* Beceite ibex, transfer from the airport to the accommodation and back, hunting license, insurance, game guide, drives in the area

* “representative” denotes the trophy strength just below the medal classes. A representative ibex is definitely a mature trophy bearer. The ibexes shown in the photos all fall into the “representative” class.

On request, the additional shooting of stone goats is possible. € 450 per shot will be charged for this.

If, due to an error on the part of the guide, a stronger ibex than you want is shot, you only pay the price of the desired trophy size.

The success rates have been over 99% for more than 30 years. In the more theoretical case that the Waidmannsheil does not materialize, the total costs amount to only € 500.

The night will be spent in a cozy “finca” owned by the outfitter and one of the best in its class in Spain. It has a spacious and extremely comfortable lounge, beautiful and clean rooms and a wonderful Mediterranean outdoor area including a pool. The finca is far away from the next village in the middle of the ibex area. The kitchen is typically Spanish and excellent, the staff incredibly nice and hard-working.

Taking your own rifles to Spain is not a problem. Alternatively, there are also excellent rental weapons available on site, so you can choose which variant you prefer.
